Fred Mugambwa shares the opening word at the Iganga Harvest Crusade. 
Jinja is the business center of the entire Busoga Region. It also hosts the source of the longest River in Africa - one Moses was picked from. The Crusade was further extended to last 17 days so did the harvest. We were blessed by Pastors Rick & Freddie from Florida - USA.

The Mulago Harvest Crusade was unique too. It was at the peak of the dry season, the ground was very dusty. We were to hire a truck to pour water on the ground. Our resources were low, we prayed instead and it rained in the dry season.
The grounds had been booked by other people, Lord gave us favour before
them and we used it instead of them. The Pastors of the area were very
supportive. The crusade was later extended and we had two-weeks for a
previously one-week crusade.
Namuwongo is a city suburban in the out scats of the Central Business District of Kampala. In an area where people are required at work from 8 am - 5 PM, the crusade frequently started late.
However, the poor start time did not hinder the 1,825 people gave their lives to the Lord. The crusade which was scheduled to run for TEN days was extended another week.

Hundreds of people gave their lives to the Lord. One church Pastor said “I had prayed for this for four years, the Lord did it in one crusade. The price was dear for the team. It rained heavily in the mountains region of Mbale.
Everyone
had left their food to be at the crusade when the storm came. The rains
where a-never-before type in our mission history. When the harvest, the
salvation of souls, came in we were all filled with and that is the joy
of Africa Harvest Mission while in mission fields.

Preparations for the Hoima crusade were very exciting. This time it was not a faith walk because one of our friends had assured us to fully fund this crusade. At the peak of the crusade preparation, we received word that the funds would not be available. By this time there was no turning back because expectation in Hoima was very high, trucks were being loaded for the crusade and teams had been dispatched.
Supplies,
accommodation and food were not yet catered for. In spite of this, Steven
insisted that the crusade was on and dispatched the team with a prayer
and admonished everyone to the best of what they could and to leave
the rest to God.

The healing of a lady who had had an issue of blood for nine years was made whole in the Hoima mission.
Jinja over sees lake Victoria. The crusade preparations for the Industrious district were smooth. Pastor Steven was all charged up to minister to the expectant crowd when another truck arrived on the crusade grounds. It belonged to a secular music group who claimed to have booked the same ground for the same day, and time for a music concert.
They turned on their equipment and purposed to draw the people on the crusade ground to the concert.
The Africa Harvest Mission system was superior. They resorted to violence and the Police was called in. The Police apportioned time for each event theirs first - we complied. We covered our equipment and waited aside. As soon as we were through with covering, a heavy rain storm approached from the lake side and the rains came down.
When the rain ended the people returned twice as many as the first.
The crusade continued for the next nine days and by the end we had registered a 1,162 soul harvest.

When
we go to Africa Harvest Mission crusades we expect God to move mightily
in salvation, healing and deliverance. Kapchorwa was no exception.
During the drive through the area, businesses were left unattended to in order to have a glimpse of what was happening.
At the end of one day a new convert - an elderly man asked Evangelist Steven "Where were you when I was wasting my life away". This made Pastor Steven to cry the more for the cause of the Gospel.

Besides the 42-hour journey and crossing two national borders by (rough) road, we got to Dar-el-slam. It's beauty by the Indian Ocean was wonderfully so was its people. The fore team had fought spiritual battles before hand. We joined in the battle as soon as we got into Dar.
This lady came to the crusade ground with her child. She was only crying
when she arrived on the grounds. We were in a time of worship. When
we were through no one could stop her in her jubilation shout. Her Child
had been dead while in hospital. She was sent to go and bury her child
- she came to the crusade. Her child got life from Jesus.

KAZO HARVEST CRUSADE
The people came in large numbers. Our accommodation costs were very high. We only ensured the security for the equipment was intact then we commuted daily for the crusade.
The yearning for the gospel was tremendous. The people gathered long before the crusade hours. The people in the security and ushering departments were the most worked.
When Pastor Steven got to the podium to share the word, the word was like a wind through an Orchard, like the fruit drops down, the people came to Christ by hundreds to the front.
The story did not end there; many more came even when we left. One pastor started a church close to the crusade ground when we left.

Deaf and dumb from birth, the Lord healed her.
In choosing for a crusade ground, the school of the deaf was chosen. People came to the crusade to find out if the deaf could be healed.
By day two no deaf child had been healed even when we preached Jesus saves and heals. The students from the school were being restrained to come to the grounds.
On the third day the crowd began to ridicule and mock the preacher and the team. This was as an ignition key for miracles. Eleven deaf and dumb spoke.
Kamukunji grounds were the ground chosen to host the crusade. It was very central but had its' loopholes.
The residents of the area are predominantly Moslem. They were therefore not in favor of the crusade. They organized themselves into a mob and stormed the crusade. Our security was out numbered by them so the Police had to come in.
We continued with the gospel. 1,832 souls came to the Lord there. The man who was supplied us with electricity was Moslem. He gave his life to the Lord
It
was long before we got to the border into the DRC. At that time DR Congo
was at war. When we got to the border, the government that gave us permission
had changed. In a bid to get clearance, Pastor Steven went ahead into
Goma.
The
team could not clear with immigration. Immigration needed passports only.
Team members who had temporary travel permits were denied entry.
The jubilation at the crusade ground was explosive in the traditional lingala language.
The journey took us across the largest fresh water lake in Africa - lake Victoria. The Jesus march took us round the main island edging the tropical rain forest. The island is a central fish processing center. It engulfs 36 other islands drawing a cross - section of people with diverse cultures.
The Island was a traditional witchcraft center too. When the gospel invaded Sesse, many came to the Lord. The area was previously un-churched. We started a church there; today it has grown to nine churches on the different Islands.

Pastor Steven's message "The City Blessing" excited the multitudes who had come from the Katwe slums. In an atmosphere of new hope, 2,284 responded to the alter call during the crusade.
