Calvary Temple is a cross cultural multilingual church with well over 2000 members. It is located on Luzira Port Bell Road, Kitintale, Kampala, Uganda. The mission of Calvary Temple is; To be a community of loving disciples who are bold in faith, strong in character global in vision, lifting up Jesus Christ to draw the world to Himself. To fulfill the vision the lord has asked us to do, seven ministry functions(pillars) are used as the foundation supports on which all our ministries rest.

	1. Worship Gathering: These are corporate gathering of the church, for the adoration of God and surrendering to Him. "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks". John 4:23		2. Life Groups: These are small groups gathering as the building blocks for Christian life and community. These groups promote mutual support and accountability as well as ministry and evangelism. "They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer". Acts 2:42.

3. Care: For expressing the love of Christ through acts of kindness meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs. "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially those who belong to the family of believers". Gal 6:10. On a day to day basis, it is our purpose to assist those who need to cope with their immediate situations. This includes funerals in the family.

		5. Discipleship: Cultivating the character of Christ in believers through on going instruction, equipping and mentioning."It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to the pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service". Eph 4:11-12. This includes Welcome to your new life, Exploring Life in Christ, Living out Biblical Truths, LIFE Group Leadership and Foundations of Leadership
4. Prayer: The foundational support of the church through faith filled prayer and intercession in various modes. "I urge, them, first of all, that the requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone". 1Tim 2:1
6. Expansion: Expanding God's kingdom by obeying the mandate of the Great Commission. We accomplish this through leadership Training and congregation extensions. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:18b-19b.	7. Evangelism: Influencing people into entering a life- changing relationship with Jesus Christ. This is by reflecting and proclaiming Him in our words and deeds. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth". Acts 1:8 The goal of the evangelism pillar is to serve all the departments in their outreach efforts to our community. Through this ministry pillar, we facilitate evangelism at various levels, from individual evangelism to large crusades.

Calvary Temple has a wonderful team who meet these people at the alter to get information from them and assist in the follow up process. Community outreach – Calvary temple is privileged to have the opportunity to serve the community through ongoing ministry other ministries include the YOUTH MINISTRY, KING'S KIDS CHURCH, and WOMEN' MINISTRY.
