The Annual Africa Harvest Convention 2006

.

Under the theme "The Invisible Jesus" the Convention drew Pastors, Ministers, and Church leaders/workers from the Great lakes region of Africa, starting from Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania down to Zambia. The residential 10-day life changing Convention in the heart of Kampala Uganda's capital saw many church leaders rededicate themselves to missionary service. Others were ordained for the ministry at the climax of the convention. The word of God delivered by Pastor Ron Johnson to the Convention was nothing less than God breathed. Thank you Pastor for being an instrument of the hour in the hand of the Master.

Transformation Night 2006

A cross section of the believers at the convention

The night of Transformation was a spectacular one. Leading pastoral teams from the entire city were drawn to the event. The pastors came to lead the congregation in prayers. The prayers tackled the key issues of the country, the continent and thanks to the Lord. The prayers started early in the night, and went on till the wee hours of the morning. The meeting was a prayer meeting and prayer it was.

The stadium turned on the lights and some people were unhappy with this. One young man climbed the lights trace to disconnect the power (480 volts). The power hit him he hanged loosely for close to 15 seconds the Lord had mercy on him he didn't die. He climbed down and walked away. The lights were on all night.

Conventions are held in different parts of the region to bring together pastors, church leaders and church workers’ from different parts of the world.

During the convention, the participants get time to pray together, encourage each other, as they share testimonies and practical information on a wide range of topics and experiences, and to lay strategies for the evangelization of Africa and the world. The climax of these conventions is the annual Great Africa Harvest Convention.

Transformation Night 2005

On the night of Good Friday, the City of Kampala - Uganda's capital was ignited with a new kind of flame. The flame was a prayer night at the Nakivubo War memorial soccer stadium from dusk to dawn.

It has become an annual event that focuses on prayer. The vision bases from the night of travail for Jacob and that of Jesus in the garden. We are looking forward for the 2006 event.

The passion of the Christ - not the movie, was ablaze in the hearts of the believers. The rain during the night was only a ignition for prayer as the saints braved it.
